Under the term "Green Label Gaming", which was coined in 2007, Mountain Dew has broadened its sponsership of Video Game designers and players. Also, Mountain Dew has released a series of flavors known as Game Fuel in partnership with Video Games such as the Halo series, World of Warcraft, Modern Warfare 3, and Ryse: Son of Rome. In 2011, Mountain Dew launched Dew XP, a promotion where gamers can enter codes found on Doritos and Mountain Dew products to receive bonus in-game experience points.
