Kickstart (Black Cherry) is a Mountain Dew flavor variant. In contrast to the original breakfast-themed Fruit Punch and Orange Citrus Kickstart flavors, this and Kickstart Limeade were released together as nighttime-themed drinks.
Kickstart Black Cherry Freeze
Beginning in March 2014, select Taco Bell locations began offering "Mountain Dew Kickstart Black Cherry Freeze", an icy variant of Kickstart (Black Cherry), replacing the preexisting Distortion Freeze. However, it was Discontinued at the beginning of October 2014 and was replaced with the Starburst Strawberry Freeze.
