Mountain Dew AMP was a Mountain Dew energy drink variant released in the UK. Unlike the American Amp Energy, Mountain Dew AMP was released under the Mountain Dew name, like its Polish sister, Adrenaline Mountain Dew.
History
In August 2013, Britvic, under the license of PepsiCo., released this drink in the UK. It should be noted that the United Kingdom version of Amp Energy is released under the 'Mountain Dew' brand with a UK-unique new logo. This is similar to its early release in North America, with the Amp logo featuring the text "Powered by Mountain DEW" beneath it.
In 2017, the U.K. Mountain Dew Twitter page responded to a user, saying they have discontinued AMP in order to focus on their Citrus Blast flavor.
Description
Like Mountain Dew, it is yellow-green in color and is citrus flavored. Its Caffeine is 31mg/100ml.
