Mountain Dew Sport was the first energy drink variant in the Mountain Dew line.
History

Following the failure of Mountain Dew Red in 1988, PepsiCo. decided to release this drink, which had the familiar taste of Mountain Dew, but with ingredients that promoted athletic activity. It, its 2-calorie version and its Diet form were lasted until 1991, when they were discontinued.
