It's been 9 months, and still no Diet SuperNova. Lets take it this way, I still dislike both the 3 stooges and the annoying orange, but I'm still waiting for Diet SuperNova to hit stores as a permanent flavor. I bet its gonna hits stores in either at the end of this moth or, February, March, or April. Well, the designs have already been released, but they may only be a prototype design. Mountain Dew ElectroCution was a rumor that was made May 2003. The blogger said that it was "DEW with a shock of Grape flavor" on some occasions and "Mountain Dew fueled with a rush of wild berries" on other occasions. It was originally for the Easter 2004 season, but due to the success of Pitch Black, it was pushed to the Easter 2005 season. Easter 2005 went and unfortunatly, still no Electrocution. It was announced by the blogger that it was pushed to the Easter 2006 season. Eventually, it was revealed that the whole Electrocution story was invented by a blogger to drive traffic.

In 2006, a fake image that was photoshopped was spread, and it was about Mtn Dew Baja Blast, alright. Not many people appeared to fall for this stunt, and no commercials were ever made about Baja Blast in a bottle.This was because the Baja Blast bottle looked rather fake, as the label can clearly be seen while the other art of the bottle is slightly blurred. Since then, people have made these bottles.
